Frequently Asked Questions

Booking, eligibility, safety, what happens during a visit, and payment.

Booking

How do I book an appointment?
Choose your service and appointment time through our online booking calendar. Our team will follow up if additional screening information is required before your appointment is confirmed. You can also call or text 416 522 3284 if you would prefer to talk it through first.
Where do you provide appointments?
Mobile appointments across the Greater Toronto Area, at your home, office or hotel. Travel is quoted based on your location and confirmed before your appointment is booked. See the service area section for more.
How long does an appointment take?
Most appointments take 30 minutes to an hour. NAD+ infusions take longer and the duration varies by dose, which is confirmed with you at consultation.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
Same-day wellness appointments may be available. For medical emergencies, call 911.
What should I have ready?
A comfortable place to sit or recline, easy access to your arm, and somewhere the provider can safely set up. No other preparation is needed.

Safety

This is not an emergency service. Invigorate IV Therapy is not an emergency medical service. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, severe symptoms or another medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical care.
What screening happens before my appointment?
We will contact you for a health review prior to your appointment. This is used to determine whether IV wellness therapy is appropriate for you, and is completed before we travel to you.
What does the health review cover?
  • Relevant medical conditions, including kidney, heart and liver conditions
  • Known allergies
  • Current medications and supplements
  • Any previous reaction to an infusion or injection
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding status, where relevant
Could I be declined?
Yes. Some medical conditions and medications make IV wellness therapy unsuitable. You may be declined, or referred for medical assessment, if the service is not clinically appropriate for you. Declining a booking is a safety decision and is made in your interest.
Who authorizes the infusion or injection?
In Ontario, administering certain substances requires an order from an authorized prescriber or a medical directive. Services are provided under a medical directive from an authorized prescriber.
Who provides the appointment?
Invigorate IV Wellness is owned and operated by Angela Borile, RPN (Registered Practical Nurse). Every appointment is provided by a nurse, offering clients consistent, private and attentive care.
Do I sign a consent form?
Before any infusion or injection begins, the intended purpose, known risks, possible side effects and alternatives are explained, and your consent is obtained. A written consent form is signed before your first appointment and kept on file. You may withdraw consent and stop an appointment at any time.
Are my vital signs taken?
Baseline vital signs are taken before every appointment.
Is the equipment sterile and single-use?
Needles, catheters, syringes and administration sets are single-use. Aseptic technique and hand hygiene protocols are followed, and sharps and biomedical waste are disposed of according to established procedure.
Does someone stay with me during the appointment?
Yes. Your provider remains present for the full duration of your appointment.
What are the risks?
Infusions and injections carry risks including discomfort, bruising, swelling or infection at the insertion site, vein irritation and, rarely, allergic or other serious reactions. Risks are explained to you as part of informed consent before an appointment proceeds. See our Medical Disclaimer.
What happens if I have a reaction?
Reactions range from minor and temporary — such as discomfort, bruising or a cool sensation at the site — to rare but serious reactions requiring emergency care. Emergency protocols are in place. Because your provider stays with you throughout the appointment, any reaction is identified and responded to promptly, including escalation to emergency services where required.
What aftercare do I get?
You will be given aftercare guidance, including what is normal to experience, what is not, and when to seek medical advice. This is provided verbally at the end of your appointment. Written instructions are available on request.
Can you help with an urgent medical problem?
No. Invigorate IV Therapy does not provide urgent or emergency care, does not diagnose medical conditions, and is not a substitute for care from your family physician, nurse practitioner or a hospital. If you are unsure whether IV wellness therapy is suitable for you, speak with your family physician or nurse practitioner before booking. You can also call or text 416 522 3284 with questions about the service.

Services

Which service should I choose?
Service selection is discussed as part of your individualized assessment. If you are unsure, call or text 416 522 3284 and our team can talk through the options with you before you book.
Is IV hydration better than drinking water?
For most healthy people, oral hydration is sufficient and is the usual recommendation. IV wellness therapy is not medically necessary for healthy individuals. If you have concerns about hydration or a medical condition affecting fluid balance, speak with your healthcare provider.

Payment & policies

What does it cost, and is HST included?
Prices are listed per session in the services section. Listed prices do not include HST, which is added at checkout. Travel is quoted based on your location and confirmed with you before your appointment is booked, so there are no surprise charges. Parking is not charged separately.
How do I pay, and is a deposit required?
No deposit is required to book. Payment is taken at your appointment. We accept cash, e-Transfer, debit, Visa and Mastercard.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment are subject to a fee of 50% of the booked service price. See our Cancellation Policy for full details.
Do you issue receipts or bill insurance?
A receipt is issued for every appointment. We do not bill or invoice insurance companies directly, and we do not provide reimbursement. If you wish to submit a receipt to an insurer, that is between you and your plan provider.
Do you take group or event bookings?
Yes — group and event bookings are available and arranged on a case-by-case basis. Call or text 416 522 3284 to discuss dates, numbers and requirements.
Descriptions are provided for general information and do not guarantee a particular result. Services are subject to an individualized health assessment. IV wellness therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency care. Individual experiences vary.
